Founded in 1995, Himin Solar Energy Group has been developed into a solar energy industry with integrated R & D, testing, manufacturing, marketing for solar products and projects such as solar evacuated glass tubes, solar water heaters, solar split type central hot water system, heat pipe collectors, U-pipe collectors, solar water heating projects, solar lamps, solar cells, solar energy saving glass and electronic devices used for solar units. Now it has become the largest manufacture base of solar water heaters and vacuum tubes in the world. Himin Group cooperates with the Chinese Academy of Sciences, German FRAUNHOFER Institute for technical research. In 2007, Himin self-developed the first auto production line of vacuum tubes in the world to realize the industrial system in solar field. Himin has obtained the ISO9000 certificate, CE certificate, TUV and SOLAR KEYMARK certificates on products and made solar products more accessible to average consumers worldwide. The markets include Germany, America, Canada, Britain, Australia, Spain, Russia, Brazil, and Malaysia, etc. In recent years, Himin has been producing in average of 2 million square meters of solar heat collectors each year. The application of its solar products has reduced the CO2 emissions significantly. The accumulated coal saving in the last ten years has reached over two million tons and the corresponding pollution has been reduced equivalently. On May 5th, 2006, board chairman Mr. Huang Ming attended the 14th UN Conference on Sustainable Development to introduce experience and commercialization of the solar industry. In September 2008, he was elected Vice President of International Solar Energy Society (ISES), and formally took charge in October. Sun-Moon MansionSun-Moon Mansion, the world solar landmark and headquarters of Himin Group, is also the site where 2010 International Solar Cities Congress (ISCC) will be held. The total area of the building is 75,000m², It adopts the technologies of water heating, BIPV, cooling, ceiling radiation, PV on-grid power generation, solar swimming pool, cross-seasonal energy storage, etc,
China Solar ValleyCovering an area of over 333.5 hectares in total, China Solar Valley leads the way in solar industrialization, including the seven wonders in solar area, namely, an unprecedented solar thermal manufacturing base, the first automatic production line of vacuum tubes in the world, a company-owned solar museum, a PV lighting road of over 10 kilometers, a demonstration area of solar architectures, a professional testing center whose standards are over 7 times of the international ones, an international renewable energy communication center—the main site of 2010 International Solar Cities Congress (ISCC). On Sept. 16th, 2010, Himin representatives will welcome friends all over the world full of passion and hospitality in China Solar Valley.
